Wellness Reimagined

A self-initiated series for the Westin, shot on vintage Leica lenses and built around people, not rooms.

Directed & shot by Timewave Productions
The brief

We pitched the Westin an idea rather than a rate card: let us write and direct a series around their wellness positioning. They said yes. What we wanted was a guest experience that felt lived-in rather than architectural.

The idea

A series of shorter reels, each carrying a different piece of the property — morning light in a guest suite, an evening gathering in the social spaces — built around people moving through the rooms rather than the rooms themselves. Shot on vintage Leica lenses for a softness that reads as timeless rather than staged.

The hotel let us build the series around guests rather than rooms — the harder sell, and the right one.

— Westin Oaks, on approving the approach

How we made it

We wrote and directed the full series ourselves, pairing vintage glass with a deliberate focus on guests in the space — a dining moment, a poolside afternoon — over empty, polished rooms.

What happened

The series runs across the hotel’s social channels — wellness-focused hospitality content that isn’t just an architecture tour.
