A documentary short on Seven Mile Road Houston’s partner congregation in India, and the sacrifice we saw there.
Seven Mile Road Houston asked us to document their partner ministry in India — not a polished mission-trip highlight reel, but something honest about the people actually doing the work.
We followed individual stories rather than the trip itself: a congregation living sacrificially, in ways we hadn’t seen with that kind of devotion across dozens of countries. The film stays with people, not itineraries.
The congregation let us into services and homes most visitors never see — that access is the whole film.
— Seven Mile Road’s partners in India
Four days, one person, one camera — alongside the congregation and Seven Mile Road’s team on the ground, following whichever story was in front of the lens rather than a fixed shot list.
It’s part of how Seven Mile Road introduces this partnership back home. It was also one of the hardest projects we’ve had to edit — there were too many strong stories competing for room, and we’re already looking forward to going back.
